Plumbing hints and tips
A lot of leaks we visit can be due to worn out silicone sealant around your bath, as it gets old and breaks down water gets through and this can slowly be soaked up by the wall behind and this can loosen tiles and discolor grout as a byproduct. You may even notice stains on ceilings below, more so on newer buildings with plasterboard ceilings.
If shower screen seals arent cleaned regularly the rubber sealing strip may stiffen up and start to leave a gap underneath. New seals can be purchased.
